Cut approximately 40–45 cm of floss.
Wind most of the floss around the middle fingers of both hands.
Hold a short section firmly between your thumbs and index fingers.
Gently guide the floss between the teeth without forcing it.
Curve the floss around each tooth in a C-shape.
Move the floss gently up and down along the tooth surface and just below the gumline.
Use a clean section of floss as you move from one tooth to another.
Floss at least once daily as part of your regular oral care routine.
