SMC Norix 1 For Women Emergency Contraceptive Pill is a single-dose emergency contraceptive containing 1.5mg Levonorgestrel. It is intended to help prevent an unintended pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure, such as condom breakage. It should be taken as soon as possible and within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse for the best effectiveness.

How to Use

1. Take one tablet orally with water as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse.
2. For best effectiveness, take it preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours.
3. It can be taken with or without food.
4. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet, another tablet may be required; consult a healthcare professional.
5. Use regular contraception for subsequent sexual activity because Norix 1 does not provide ongoing contraceptive protection.

For emergency use only and not intended as a regular birth-control method. Norix 1 does not terminate an existing pregnancy and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
