SMC MoniMix 30 Sachets Box is a micronutrient powder supplement for young children, developed to help prevent and address micronutrient deficiencies and iron-deficiency anaemia. Each 1g sachet contains iron, folic acid, vitamins A and C, and zinc. It is designed to be mixed with a child’s usual soft or semi-solid food.
How to Use
- Give 1 sachet daily to the child as recommended.
- Mix the entire sachet with a small quantity of the child’s usual soft or semi-solid food, such as rice, khichuri or suji.
- Mix only after the food has cooled to a suitable temperature.
- The child should consume the complete portion containing the sachet within approximately 30 minutes.
- Do not divide one sachet into multiple doses or share it between children.
Usage Safety Information
MoniMix is primarily intended for children from 6 months to under 5 years, with particular suitability for children 6–24 months. Do not use in infants below 6 months. Children with severe malnutrition should receive appropriate medical care before iron-containing supplementation. Do not give more than one sachet per day. Darkening of the stool can occur because of unabsorbed iron and is generally normal.
